Our Work
A passion honoured and enjoyed ... putting great effort into making very good quality homemade drum mallets, for use with different types of drums
About Us
It all started in 2003 in Calgary, going to my first Community Drum Circle - a wonderful small intimate gathering of people making music and meaningful connections together.
Over time, I realized drums were being damaged by the mallets being used. Partnerships were cultivated with drum circle facilitators to continue to enhance the design, standing up to the rigors of regular drum circles.
The result - very good quality homemade drum mallets for use with various types of drums - frame/buffalo, tubanos, dhun dhuns & gathering drums - for both non-healthcare and healthcare environments.
A recent, very welcome addition to our team is Megan - a very talented knitter who has eagerly jumped in to make the socks/hats.
The ability to contribute to the quality of community drum circles through mallets made is humbling and a real privilege.
